I'm still cooking out of 1000 Vegan Recipes by Robin Robertson. I'm really liking this book. This is Carbonara Style Pasta. I don't have much to say about this other than YUM.
I used my own vegan parmesan made from the uncheese cookbook recipe, spaghettini, fakin' bacon, and added peas as suggested in the notes. Go make this because it is amazing!

1,000 vegan recipes?! That's crazy. I have a bunch of her books and like a lot of the recipes, so I think I'll have to check that one out. I've made and enjoyed quite a few recipes from Vegan Planet. I never thought there'd be a (good) vegan recipe book with more recipes than that one.
ReplyDeleteYeah, so far it is pretty good. I'm surprised because I tend to stay away from big tomes thinking that there is no way they could have tested or put much time into each recipe. But, so far, so good. I've only made 3 or 4 things out of it. Have you seen the 1000 Vegan Recipes blog that some VFF'ers are doing where they are cooking through all of the recipes?
